Anyone here play the Ocarina?

I plan to purchase an Ocarina, just for the joy of playing the Zelda songs. I found a site that teaches you to play the Zelda songs but they're for four hole Ocarinas and I can't find anywhere that sells cheap 4 hole Ocarinas. I found a nice blue Clay one on E-Bay that'd cost me £16 (includes shipping), however, to start off I wanna buy this little plastic Ocarina I found on E-Bay and am just wondering which holes I would use as if it were a 4-hole English Ocarina.

Here's the Ocarina:

And here's the site to teach you:

If I got that Ocarina, would I be able to play Zelda songs easily? Is what I wonder....

Thanks for any help!

mmm Four Hole ocarinas should be painfully easy to find since that's for beginner's, children. You want a better Ocarina, you can play the songs much more accurately, like the ones you linked to in the ebay.

But yes, you could play the songs, but not easily at first. But honestly, if you have a good ear and can listen to the notes, you can just wing it for most of the Zelda songs. It's just like playing a flute.

I managed to score a 4-hole Celtic Pendant Ocarina off E-Bay for £10. That's good considering the quality. The tabs I find are all for either four-holed ocarinas or the special replicas that SongbirdOcarina.com specialise in making. They are actual replice Ocarinas (Fairy and OoT) that are Blue (or Brown) with the Triforce symbol on them. Songs are gonna be EASY to play with the 4-holed English edition one but If I can find songbooks in any local music stores, I'll move up to more holes.....that sounds dirty. LOL!
