Y’all really bringing up “Angel Eyes”? Talk about a tearjerker! I remember binge-watching this and crying like a baby. The whole blind-woman-meets-surgeon trope had me feeling all the feels. And that quote? Ugh, so relatable! It’s like they knew how to tug at our heartstrings.

But let’s be real, the melodrama was on another level. I was rooting for them, but also side-eyeing all the tragic plot twists. Anyone else feel like they were just waiting for the next heartbreak? Still, I’d watch it again for the nostalgia. What do y’all think? Worth a rewatch or just too much of an emotional rollercoaster?

As a mom with limited time I needed something that grabs me fast. This one did. Short 20 episodes perfect length. The plot moves quick enough no boring fillers. Emotional but not dragging on forever. Soo-Wan’s journey from blind teen to strong adult is inspiring. Dong-Joo’s character development is good too. Nice to see a drama where love isn’t the only thing that matters they both have careers and purpose. Watched while folding laundry and cooking. Solid choice for busy people

Compared to newer stuff this feels old-school in a good way. Less flashy action more focus on feelings and family pain. Not as polished as some 2025 dramas but the raw emotion carries it. Lee Sang-Yoon is underrated he nails the tortured surgeon vibe. Ku Hye-Sun brings real warmth to Soo-Wan. Better than a lot of recent second-chance romances that rely on fake conflicts. This one earns the tears. If you miss the 2010s melodrama style watch it before Netflix pulls it again.
