There's never 'only a couple' in classes around here, but then it's San Francisco so there's a lot of people interested in learning other languages -- most 'more common' language classes fill up pretty well.

Actually, yeah, City College of San Francisco has one level of Tagalog and three levels of conversational Tagalog in the Pilipino / Phillippine Studies departments (considered two separate departments, technically).
