Adapting proper eastern "Superhero" themes to American superhero themes

Hello everyone. Right now, I am writing a story/fighting game that's a big BlazBlue-esque homage to superheroes, with not only western-based superhero tributes like Marvel and DC, but several based on Japanese ones like Tokusatsu (In fact, my username is the name of the Kamen Rider-esque character.), Magical Girl, and the Japanese storm god Susanoo as a hybrid of Marvel's Thor and a shounen hero

What I'm saying is, would it be possible to mix Japanese superhero tropes with American superhero tropes, but not have them look silly or a shallow parody? I mean, I want the Japanese characters as faithful to what they're based on, but not seem out of place, IE the Magical Girl is more of a Magical Warrior Girl who uses a magic rapier changed from her trinket and has a more serious and more intimidating familiar helping her, along with them actually being from Japan, with them coming to America for the story's big fights. In fact, as of now, the story/game is becoming a mishmash of various superhero and anime/manga homages and tributes with the characters being a mixture of each, IE the protag is the son of a Superman-esque hero who has energy powers similar to Goku, complete with a powered-up form, one character is this cute Astroboy-esque robot who becomes a Mazinger/Gigantor brute when angry, a la Hulk, who uses various mecha references in his attacks, a jock in a size-alternating mech based on a hercules beetle, an Iron Man-esque knight who's armor resembles knight Digimon, and an undead goth girl who uses her spirit to attack, Jojo-style.

I would just like to know if what I'm doing sounds good. The aesthetic I'm looking for is basically Tiger and Bunny meets Digimon meets BlazBlue and Guilty Gear
