About Legalization

I think the best shot we have is to write to Saban that to try to release the sentai verisons as well. Companies look at written letters the most and do not care about emails and online petitions. Mabey we should try writing letters to Toei. I could see Saban pulling a Media blasters by releasing the sentai versions after the entire power rangers are on dvd like Media blasters did with Voltron and Go Lion.

this is something i haven't fully figured out yet buy i don't see why they don't try it they have done it with ultraman and some other low buget series and some of the movie you see done by smaller companies why they don't try it is beyond me. Nostalgia factor is a major selling point these days its why they rerelease things like the real ghost busters and voltron on dvd its because people want to remember what their childhood was like.

Okay, I'm not gonna be the Negative Nelly here but it's not gonna happen. Toku is gonna stay as niche as it is now. There's a better chance of me anally raping a lady bug then all of the super sentai shows being released in box-sets in the states. no one will buy them.

Now you can argue with me all you want but here's a test for you to do: get yourself a friend who's not into toku or power rangers. They can be into anime, action films, comic books, all the other geeky stuff in the world, and sit them down to watch Garo.

They'll be loving the **** out of that show, loving the titties and blood and fighting, they'll be loving that show up until the horror shows up. The second they see the Garo suit and realize they are watching one of those "japanese power ranger" shows, they'll be kicking the door down to get away from the T.V. screen.

They'res just no market for it in America. If they did release the box-sets, the sales for them would be horrible and they'd go out of print within months. Don't believe me? Look at Ultraman Tiga!
