Where's Tiana?

Back in 2020, as we were all quarantining (the sensible among us, anyway), Disney announced a ton of new extended adventures for its animated movie characters. Baymax, Dug, the Zootopia crew, the Cars bunch and Princess Tiana would all be starring in either new short features or, in the case of Tiana, a full self-titled TV series. It’s now 2023 and most of those attractions have been released to Disney+, except one.

I heard rumors that Lupita Nyong'o is rumored to play a live-action version of Princess Tiana.

Disney's delay in hiring a lead writer for Tiana's show is baffling. They announced this back in 2020, and now it's 2023. The anticipation has been building up, and I hope they don't disappoint when it finally airs in 2024. The description of Tiana's adventures as a newly crowned princess sounds like tanglwd series, and I can't wait to see how her New Orleans past ties into the story.

The idea of Tiana's story taking place after the movie sounds exciting, and I'm looking forward to her adventures as the Princess of Maldonia. However, it's also essential for characters like Charlotte to have a significant role; she's such a vibrant character from the movie. If you're itching for a Disney Princess series and don't want to wait, "Tangled: The Series" is an option. It's already complete, has multiple seasons, and is quite enjoyable, so you might want to check it out while we await Tiana's arrival on Disney+.

Disney Introducing Tiana to a new generation is crucial, as many who enjoyed "The Princess and the Frog" as kids have grown up. The Elsa and Moana crowd might not be as familiar with Tiana, so this series could be the perfect way to reintroduce her and her world to a younger audience. Moreover, the timing is impeccable with the upcoming live-action movie. The TV series could indeed serve as a fantastic lead-up to the movie

Wow, the wait for Tiana's series has been a test of patience. Joyce Sherri's involvement is intriguing, but the fact that they're only hiring a lead writer now is a head-scratcher. I'm still hopeful for 2024, though. Tiana's post-movie adventure sounds awesome. Tiana is like a prediction of Megan Markle.

I absolutely adore the friendship between Princess Tiana and Charlotte! It's such a refreshing twist on the classic "spoiled brat" character archetype. You're right; in many stories, characters like Charlotte tend to be portrayed as villains. However, Charlotte's innocence and genuine kindness shine through, making her a truly lovable character.

Even though she was part of a love triangle with Prince Naveen and Tiana, Charlotte never let it affect her friendship with Tiana. She remained supportive and caring, which is a testament to her character's depth. What's even more heartwarming is that her friendship with Tiana existed long before Tiana became a princess. It's a beautiful reminder that genuine friendships can transcend social status and circumstances. Charlotte's character is a breath of fresh air, and her unwavering friendship with Tiana adds a special touch to the story.

I'm thrilled that the writer's strike is over, or else Tiana might never get her writer. Good riddance to that strike! So happy that there's no more writer's strike.
