SDCC 2023: Watchmen, Crisis To Become Animated Movies

<p>Most of DC’s animated superhero movies of late have been adaptions of famous one-shot stories from their library…and they’re kind of running out of them. Their next two projects were announced at SDCC this weekend, and both of them have been adapted before in other media.</p>

films! Watchmen is a masterpiece, and I'm excited to see how they adapt it this time around. The graphic novel is certainly one of the best, and it's wonderful to see it receiving more attention. Concerning Crisis on Infinite Earths, I like the Arrowverse adaption and am excited to see how it will be explored in the Tomorrowverse animated features. DC has a lot of amazing animated shows, and I'm glad they're expanding on them!

Oh, this has made my day! I've always been a fan of Watchmen, and the fact that they're doing an animated film is great! I enjoyed Zack Snyder's film version and the HBO series, but seeing it animated will be a new perspective. In the cartoon universe, Crisis on Infinite Earths sounds awesome! I can't wait to see all of my favorite DC characters band together to save the multiverse.DC Studios is going all out with their animated movies next year.Watchmen is an absolute classic, and I can't get enough of it. Watchmen is such an iconic work, and seeing it brought to life in animation will be a treat. Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' creation deserves all the love it gets.

Oh, man, I gotta be honest – I really didn't enjoy the Watchmen movie at all. It was sooo boring, and the worst part was how long it dragged on. Three hours felt like an eternity, and I couldn't wait for it to end. I have zero interest in watching the TV show, and I won't bother with the upcoming series either. Honestly, I'll never understand why people are so obsessed with this franchise. No comics for me either – Watchmen is just not my cup of tea, and I don't get the hype. Dr.Manhattan's penis also traumatized me. The Silk Spectre incest plot and domestic abuse plot is also gross.
