The modern B-movie fixation with sharks started long before someone thought of putting them in a tornado, but it was that moment that kicked the whole trend into high gear. Ten years ago the first, instantly meme-able Sharknado movie premiered on DVD and SyFy. Now, on the tenth birthday of the world’s most peculiar weather pattern, SyFy presents the Sharknado marathon, featuring every movie in the series that was ever made.

It is the first meme movie that got viral. It kinda also revived the dead acting careers of Tara Reid and Ian Ziering, Ian Ziering was working as a stripper at Chippendales before Sharknado became a viral meme.

During the 8 years this movie franchise was active, it became a family tradition in my household to watch a sequel during shark week.Wow, it's hard to believe that it's already been ten years since the first Sharknado movie took the world by storm.Sharknado holds a special place in my heart. I remember watching the first movie and being both entertained and amazed at the sheer audacity of the concept. It's incredible to see how this B-movie phenomenon has grown over the past decade, inspiring countless shark-related disaster films.

Haha, Sharknado! I can't help but love how ridiculously cheesy and over-the-top those movies are. They're like a guilty pleasure for me. I know they're not high-quality cinema, but there's something oddly enjoyable about seeing sharks flying through the air in a tornado.

Sharknado movies are my ultimate guilty pleasure. I mean, they're not exactly Oscar-worthy, but they provide a perfect escape from reality. Who doesn't want to witness the madness of sharks swirling in a tornado? It's mindless entertainment at its finest. I can't help but chuckle at the sheer audacity of these movies. I was sad when they Syfy decided to end it.

Sharknado marathon? Sign me up for some mindless fun! I mean, let's be honest, these movies are so bad that they're good. It is like a peak Cinema for Tommy Wiseau levels of acting.

I can't help but roll my eyes at the sheer ridiculousness of it all, but deep down, I secretly enjoy every minute of it. The Sharknado Tenth Anniversary Marathon sounds like the perfect excuse to embrace my inner fan of terrible disaster movies. Sharknado, the franchise that defies all logic and reason.hey may not be cinematic masterpieces, but they sure know how to entertain.
