Samsung has decided to join the list of providers offering free Korean content. Their selections include binge-worthy dramas, romance, crime, reality TV and variety shows, fantasy and science fiction. They also have a collection of “Featured Movies” which includes hidden gems, i.e. films that are old but gold. You can stream for free via Samsung TV Plus On-Demand K-Content. Here are two movies to add to your watch list. The Terror, LIVE (2013) The Neighbors (2012) Samsung TV Plus Becomes One of the Largest Providers of K-Content (1) “The Terror, LIVE”(2013) GENRE: Action, Crime, Thriller, and Suspense. STORYLINE: In “The Terror, LIVE”, at one point in his career, Yoon Young-hwa was at the top of his game as a news anchor. OMG! Free Korean movies? This is amazing! "The Neighbors" sounds like something straight out of a webtoon. Psychological thriller with a dark twist? Yes, please! Maybe I can convince my mom to watch it with me... if I can handle the scares.

Interesting to see Samsung Plus expanding into K-content. Two free movies is a good way to test the waters. "The Terror Live" sounds like a commentary on ambition and the 24-hour news cycle. Always a relevant topic. I'll probably watch it while I'm folding laundry.

Free Korean movies? This is perfect for my next staycation! "The Terror Live" sounds like an adrenaline rush. A terrorist on the line, a desperate reporter – what could go wrong? (Besides everything, obviously). "The Neighbors" seems a bit too dark for my taste. Maybe I'll stick to the popcorn flick.

"The Neighbors" has me intrigued. A serial killer living undetected in an apartment building? That's some serious social commentary on the disconnect between people in big cities. I love a good mystery where you have to piece things together yourself.

The only problem I have is that the problem does not work on my Amazon Fire TV, so I have to watch on my laptop. But free is free! YAY!

Samsung TV Plus also has LIVE channels, but I rarely watch live programming unless it's the news. BTW, they have movies and TV series. They are testing the waters right now. My only complaint is that they have not added historical period K-dramas. There are some I want to watch and I can't find them on US platforms. I'll be patient as Samsung starts populating its database.

I live in Texas and Samsung has moved their operations to one of major cities. They are planting their feet firmly on American soil. Since it is a South Korean company, I'm surprised they didn't start sooner wth streaming Korean content. LOL.
