While Chloë Grace Moretz delivered a charming performance, I felt the film struggled with pacing, especially in the second act. The chemistry between her and Anthony Ramos was definitely there, but some of the plot twists felt predictable and lacked the emotional weight I was hoping for. It's a delightful watch for a light evening, but it didn't quite hit all the marks for me.

Okay the premise alone is giving secondhand stress. Writing vows for the guy you used to love while he marries someone else? That is not a rom com plot that is a punishment. Chloe usually picks interesting roles so I trust her a bit here but the trailer felt kind of safe for what the story is setting up.

6.6 rating already tells me what I need to know lol. Not bad not great, just another one of those movies you watch once on a flight and forget by the time you land. Still gonna give it a shot because I like Manny Jacinto in everything he does.

Anthony Ramos deserves better scripts honestly. He has range, he can sing, he can act, and they keep putting him in the charming side guy role. Give that man a lead where he is not just competition for the main couple.

I like the setup not gonna lie. The vow writing job as a way to process her own heartbreak is actually a smart idea for a character. Just hope they do not waste it on shallow jokes and rush the ending like most of these do.
