The historical backdrop of King Danjong's exile is such a treasure trove for storytelling! I can already feel the emotional weight that a film like "The King's Warden" would carry, especially with all the themes of loss and resilience. Korean dramas and films excel at weaving those heart-wrenching narratives; just think of how "Bridal Mask" and "The Crowned Clown" made us feel so deeply for their tragic heroes. I'm ready for the tears to flow if they're capturing that raw emotion! Plus, the costume design and settings in historical dramas always give me life. Can't wait to vibe with this one!

What hurt me the most is that it's a true story and that the young deposed king was only 17 years old. The only sad true history story that I know of that's worse than that is a young Chinese emperor who was poisoned at the age of 14. It's really not all that great to be king, is it?
