While I appreciate the focus on secretaries in K-dramas, I can't help but think that many of these shows, despite their charming premises, often fall into the trap of relying on clichés. For example, in "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," the dynamic between the leads is entertaining, but it leans heavily on the typical "mysterious past" trope without really delving into how the secretary's role affects her life or aspirations beyond her boss. I feel like there's so much potential to explore the depth of these characters instead of just having them serve as romantic interests or plot devices. It would be refreshing to see a drama that gives these secretaries their own storylines that don't revolve entirely around their bosses.

I hear you! It's as if they're all made with the same “cookie cutter”. Right? Frankly, I wish someone would reach out to me and ask me for ideas for K-dramas. I could suggest a few tweaks. But I ain't doing it for free. Hey! We all hustling!
