The intricate mix of historical elements and romance in "Scholar Who Walks the Night" really set it apart from other vampire dramas. I loved the character of Kim Sung-yeol, especially how his backstory intertwined with historical figures, but the pacing felt uneven at times, especially in the middle episodes. Still, the cinematography and the gothic atmosphere were beautifully crafted, which kept me engaged overall.

The Horror genre is not my favorite. What made me watch this K-drama was Lee Joon-Gi. But then I discovered Lee Soo-Hyuk. This was my first time seeing this actor. Even though he was the bad vampire, he made me swoon. This guy is a really good actor.
