I watched Twinkling Watermelon last year and it still lives in my head rent free. The time travel part with his parents is so well done, you actually feel the weight of what he is choosing between. Not many shows can make you cry over a guitar and a father son relationship at the same time. Adding this list to my queue for sure, need more music dramas like this one.

When the Devil Calls Your Name is such an underrated concept. Selling your soul for talent is not new but the way they tied it to another person losing everything for his gain makes it heavier. I like when dramas make you question if the main lead deserves sympathy or not. This one seems to do exactly that from the summary alone.

Love Lies is a movie I actually already watched years ago and the album artwork mentioned here is not exaggerated, it really is beautiful. The story itself is heavy though, be ready for heartbreak if you go in. Great pick to add here, this whole list is turning into my next few weekends of watching honestly.

This is such a solid roundup, I appreciate that each drama has a clear hook instead of just being vague summaries. Jeongnyeon caught my attention the most because gukguek theater is something I have never seen represented in a kdrama before, feels fresh compared to the usual idol or composer storylines everyone does.
