The concept of questioning one's identity in "Mousetrap" really reminds me of the drama "The Village: Achiara's Secret." Both get into the shadows of human psychology and perception, creating a gripping atmosphere. I found that exploring how characters grapple with their true selves versus the facades they present adds a rich layer to the storytelling.

Right from the start, I felt really bad for the main character. He was already suffering from his mother being mentally unhinged and eventually committing suicide. That by itself is hard enough to deal with. But on top of trying to maintain his sanity and make a life through that trauma, he gets his entire life stolen from him? That's way too much! It's one of those situations in life where people have to decide: “If it don't kill me, it will make me stronger.”
