No More Off Days: How Wrestling Fans Can Watch a New Show Every Day of the Week

I used to stick with WWE and ignored everything else. That changed after I started watching TNA and AEW once in a while. I realized every company has something different to offer. Some focus more on stories, others focus on the matches. It also makes wrestler releases less depressing because there is usually another place where they can prove themselves again. My only problem is finding enough time to watch everything. There are so many shows now that I end up catching highlights for some of them. Even then, I think having too many choices is still better than having only one company running everything.

I've been an AEW fan since the beginning, but I still check out other promotions once in a while. AEW is still the show I look forward to the most because I enjoy the in-ring wrestling and seeing talent from different countries. I think it's good that wrestlers have more places to work now instead of depending on one company. Even if I don't watch every WWE or TNA show, I like knowing the options are there. Competition has made wrestling more interesting for everyone.

I still mainly watch WWE, but I check out other promotions when someone I like shows up there. That's probably the biggest difference today. Wrestlers don't just disappear after getting released anymore. Some of them actually come back stronger because they get a fresh start somewhere else. I remember seeing people write off certain wrestlers, then they rebuilt themselves in another company and became much more interesting. That makes following individual wrestlers more fun than following only one brand. I don't think every promotion is for me, but I like having the option to watch something different whenever I feel like it.

I actually enjoy mixing promotions because every company has its own style. If I watch only WWE for months, everything starts to feel familiar. Then I switch over to AAA or MLW and it feels different enough to keep me interested. I don't think fans need to treat wrestling like sports teams where you have to stay loyal to one side. If a show entertains me, I'll watch it. If it doesn't, I'll skip it. It's really that simple.

I think this is a better time to follow wrestlers than promotions. Some of my favorite wrestlers have worked in three or four companies over the years. Watching their careers change from place to place is honestly more interesting than staying with one promotion forever. Sometimes a different company brings out the best version of someone you thought had already reached their limit.
