Akira definitely deserves more attention than just those iconic moments! It's such a groundbreaking film with deep themes about power, corruption, and youth rebellion. I remember watching it for the first time and being completely blown away by the animation and the score. Plus, it really paved the way for anime in the West. I'm excited for the September 4 re-release, it's a perfect opportunity for folks to experience it on the big screen. Have you seen it in theaters before?
