I just checked out Enola Holmes 3, and it was such a fun ride! I love how they mix action and mystery while keeping it light-hearted. The chemistry between Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill is fantastic, making their sibling dynamic really engaging.

The action sequences, especially one involving a clever chase through the streets, are surprisingly well-choreographed for a film that leans more into mystery and comedy. It's refreshing to see a younger protagonist handle herself so well in those moments. Did you have a favorite scene or character in this installment?

Sherlock getting kidnapped was not on my list of things I expected. That alone makes me want to watch it. I also find it funny that Enola was basically about to get married before everything went wrong. She really cannot catch a break. I just hope the mystery has enough surprises because that is what makes detective movies fun for me. If they already have a strong cast returning, then they should take advantage of it instead of focusing only on action.

I can already imagine the Snyder bros and anti-woke crowd getting upset because Sherlock is the one getting kidnapped instead of being the hero who saves everyone. They complain about almost everything these days, so this will probably give them another reason to make angry videos. Meanwhile, I'm just here for a fun mystery. If the story is good and Enola has to step up to rescue Sherlock, that's an interesting setup. I'll judge it after watching the movie, not because someone online decided to be mad before it even came out.

I never get tired of detective movies when they have good characters, and this series has always been fun because of Enola. She is smart, confident, and has her own style without feeling like a copy of Sherlock. This new story sounds like it has higher stakes than before, which is exactly what I wanted from a third movie. I also think moving part of the story to Malta is a nice change because the previous movies stayed closer to London. If the mystery is clever and the pacing stays strong, I can see myself watching this more than once.

The cast is probably the biggest reason I am interested. Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, and Himesh Patel together make a really solid lineup. I also like that Enola keeps getting bigger challenges instead of staying in the same place as a detective. Saving Sherlock sounds like the kind of case that should push her skills to the limit. I just hope the movie gives everyone enough screen time because it would be disappointing if some of these characters barely appear. I also would not mind seeing more interaction between Enola and Sherlock since that has always been one of my favorite parts of the series.

Millie Bobby Brown fits this role so naturally that I cannot imagine anyone else playing Enola now. I also think Henry Cavill has his own version of Sherlock that works well with her instead of trying to copy older versions. My only concern is whether the mystery itself will be memorable. A detective movie can have a great cast, but if the clues are too obvious or the ending feels rushed, it loses a lot of its impact. I hope they spent as much time on the writing as they did on the action scenes.

I enjoyed the first two movies because they never took themselves too seriously. They mixed mystery, comedy, and action in a way that made them easy to watch. This one sounds like it is raising the stakes without changing the personality of the series. Going from London to Malta should also make the movie feel fresh. I hope they keep the clever clues instead of solving everything through fights. Enola figuring things out is still the biggest reason I watch these movies.

A lot of sequels start making everything bigger instead of smarter. I hope this movie remembers that the mystery should be the main attraction. Sherlock getting kidnapped is a strong starting point, but the clues and investigation need to be satisfying too. If the answer ends up being obvious, that would be disappointing. Still, I enjoyed the first two films enough that I'll definitely give this one a chance.
