I love the idea of exploring Clayface’s character through the lens of his past as an actor! Basil Karlo is such a fascinating character, and his struggles with identity and fame could make for some seriously compelling storytelling. I think it could definitely be a redemption arc for him!
In the recent runs, especially in the Bat-family titles, we’ve seen glimpses of his tragic backstory, and it makes you root for him despite his villainous tendencies. The concept of celebrity in the comics is always ripe for satire, and I can’t wait to see how they handle that in this new series.
