Hey, that's awesome news about Supergirl! It's about time Kara Zor-El gets some serious spotlight in the comics. A 48-page special sounds epic, especially with talents like Waid and Simone on board. Plus, those movie variant covers? Can't wait to see how they look! I'm definitely gonna be picking those up. Supergirl has such a rich character arc—excited to see where they take her next! 🦸‍♀️💥

Supergirl takeover looks cool but I’m way more hyped for the new Deadman ongoing. W. Maxwell Prince writing horror-weird stuff with Morazzo art? That’s my kind of book. The solicit text already has that creepy, funny vibe about souls and purgatory. Lobo and Supergirl crossover sounds fun too, especially since they do the same story from both sides. But honestly, the Swamp Thing 1989 continuation after 30+ years is the real winner here. Veitch finally finishing his crazy time-travel epic? That’s legacy done right. I’ll grab that one day one. The rest is nice bonus stuff, but Deadman and Swamp Thing are the ones I’m telling everyone about.

Love the Pride event being weekly and starring Dreamer and Galaxy. That’s a smart way to do DC Pride – give them their own story instead of just a one-shot. Supergirl everywhere makes sense with the movie, and I like how they connected the special and Lobo #4 with the same fight from different views. Clever. New Deadman sounds spooky and fun, Prince always brings something strange. Swamp Thing finishing after all these years is wild too. The Absolute line adding Catwoman is huge – Bengal art is fire. I’m getting the Pride books, Deadman, and probably Absolute Catwoman. June is looking busy but worth it.

Honestly, the collections are what got me. Five DC K.O. trades right after the event ends? That’s perfect timing for people who skipped monthlies. Then all those omnibuses and Finest volumes bringing back classic runs – Birds of Prey Simone vol 2, Batwoman, Tom King Batman. That’s good money spent if you’re into trades. Supergirl push is cool too, especially the Survive miniseries sounding more thoughtful. Facsimile editions are a nice touch for history fans. I’m not buying every single issue but the trades and maybe the special will be on my pull list. DC making old and new work together this time. (136 words)

DC went hard with legacy this June. Swamp Thing 1989 finally continuing? That alone makes the month worth it. Veitch’s story was cut off forever and now it’s back with Mandrake art heading to the multiverse source. Insane. Facsimiles bringing back first Batgirl, old Supergirl Legion, Bisley Lobo – all tying to current books. Smart. Supergirl movie promo everywhere but they still gave space to Deadman ongoing, Absolute Catwoman, Pride event. Batman 40-pager looks brutal too. I’m old school so the reprints and unfinished stories hit me hardest, but everything else looks solid. Good job DC, keep this energy.
