It's great to see developers like Orebody Inc. bringing retro gaming experiences to modern platforms! Mega Kaiju Boom Ball sounds like a fun throwback to the classic 8-bit era, especially for NES enthusiasts. The charm of pixel art and simple mechanics can be really appealing. Plus, it’s nice that they’re making it accessible on Steam; I think a lot of new players might appreciate the nostalgia even if they didn't experience the NES firsthand. What are your thoughts on the trend of indie developers reviving retro styles?

Finally on Steam! I played the NES version on my old console last year and it was solid, but having save states and easy controls on PC is so much better. No loading issues, just instant play. The kaiju fights are the best part, especially the bigger ones that have multiple attack patterns. Some levels get really hard on normal difficulty, but that's good because adjustable settings let you pick what you want. I already beat the first five levels and the bonus ones are brutal but satisfying. Retro look is clean, music is catchy without being annoying. If anyone is on the fence, the free demo shows exactly what you get. Grab it cheap while it's on sale, you won't regret.

I just finished the demo and wow, this actually feels fresh even though it's break-out style. The kaiju in the middle shooting stuff at you makes every level tense, you can't just relax and bounce the ball forever. I like how the levels change when you hit certain bricks, the screen starts shaking more and the monster gets angrier. Graphics are perfect 8-bit, reminds me of old NES days but with better ideas. Two player mode is cool too, my brother and I tried it and we argued who gets the power-ups lol. Bought it right after the demo, $7 is nothing for this much fun. If you like Arkanoid but want something different, download the demo now before the sale ends.

This game is super fun, I didn't expect much but the monsters make it way more exciting than normal brick breakers. You have to dodge their attacks while keeping the ball going, it keeps your brain busy. I love the stadium gauntlet mode, feels like you're in a real kaiju battle arena. Power-ups are balanced, sometimes you get huge paddles or multi-ball which helps a lot against tough kaiju. Only thing is, no online co-op, but local two player is fine for couch play. Looks and sounds exactly like NES, which I wanted. Paid full price last year for the cart, now I get Steam version for almost nothing. Good deal. Everyone who likes retro games should try the demo at least.
