Wait, so this is the new drama of the year? A hijacking that turns into a black comedy? Somebody convince me before I waste 16 hours of my life! I mean, the concept is wild, pretending to be North Korea? That’s a level of creativity that could either be genius or a total trainwreck.

Also, those quotes are already iconic! “Do they have black people in North Korea?” is definitely going to become a meme. I’m curious to see how they balance the satire with the thriller aspect. Anyone already watched it? Is it actually as good as it sounds, or is it just another case of “they had a good idea but didn’t execute it”?

Watching this, I felt like the movie was commenting on how fragile reality can be. The Red Army Faction believed one thing, and everything they saw that contradicted it created chaos. I appreciated that the humor came from logic and human error, not just random jokes. It made the movie smart while keeping it entertaining. The historical context adds weight to the comedy, making it more than just absurdity for laughs.

I liked the black comedy approach of Good News. It is unusual to see a hijacking story told this way. I think the filmmakers succeeded in balancing tension with humor. The “pretend to be North Korea” idea is ridiculous, but that is what makes it interesting. The actors did well portraying characters caught between danger and improvisation. I would recommend it for people who like unusual, thought-provoking stories.

At first, I thought the story might be too complicated to follow. But the movie handles the plot cleverly, using humor to explain the hijacking and the absurdity of the plan. The characters have clear motivations, and the stakes remain real even with the comedy. I think the director did a good job making the story understandable while keeping it entertaining. The historical context fascinated me. Japan Airlines Flight 351 was a real event, but the movie exaggerates it for comedy and tension. I liked the balance between fact and fiction. It makes you want to learn more about the real hijacking while still enjoying the creative liberties the filmmakers took.

I thought the movie was very smart. It makes fun of human assumptions, like thinking North Korea has no black people, while keeping the story tense. The writing is sharp, and the characters respond logically to chaos. It is rare to see a movie combine historical events, comedy, and social commentary so well.

I liked that the story is set in the 1970s but still feels relevant. Misinformation and propaganda are not new, but the movie shows how absurd they can be. The absurdity of the plan, and the way the characters handle it, makes the story entertaining and thought-provoking. It’s a mix of intelligence and humor that works really well.

The ending felt satisfying because the characters adapt to unexpected events. I liked how the filmmakers made reality itself a character. The Red Army Faction believed one thing, but reality kept shifting, forcing everyone to improvise. It’s clever, funny, and tense at the same time. I think it’s a great example of black comedy that makes you think without losing entertainment value.

[Death Dance]

What struck me most about Good News was how it made a hijacking story feel fresh. It’s not just about danger or heroism but about bending reality to get out of a bad situation. The humor isn’t forced either—it comes from how the characters interact with the chaotic circumstances. The idea of faking North Korea just to keep the terrorists calm is ridiculous but also so cleverly executed. This is a film that knows how to make you laugh without losing the tension of the situation.

The plot itself was outlandish but in a good way. The more I watched, the more I realized how much the movie is a commentary on the power of narrative and how truth can be manipulated. The hijackers had a fixed idea of what should be happening, and the world around them shifted, making them doubt their own understanding. The humor here is driven by the people in these tense situations trying to maintain control, which made it interesting.
