The Man Without Fear has defied the odds again — not even cancellation on another streaming service could keep Matt Murdock down; he returns to defend the streets of Hell’s Kitchen once more in Daredevil: Born Again, launching next March. A trailer was released today and even though the show is moving to Disney+, there doesn’t seem to be any suggested toning down of the brutal violence and gritty drama. As we open the season, Matt thinks he’s retired from the superhero game. Everything seems fine, his lawyer job is paying well, he’s having steamy shower scenes with his best girl, and he even seems to be buddies with his former worst enemy, Wilson Fisk AKA the Kingpin. Maybe he isn’t paying enough attention with that supersonic hearing of his. There’s a new vigilante in town who calls himself White Tiger, a serial killer is running around Hell’s Kitchen building up a body count, and Fisk? He’s running for mayor….which isn’t illegal but what he plans to do while in office probably is. Matt eventually gets the message….he’s re-suiting up! And, as you can see in the trailer, making up for lost time by breaking as many criminal bones as […]

This show looks like it’s going to be insane, and that’s exactly what I want from a Daredevil series! The fight scenes were always one of the highlights of the previous seasons, and it looks like they’re ramping that up even further. I don’t mind the introduction of new characters like White Tiger, but let’s be real—the most exciting thing is seeing Matt back in action. The trailer had that classic street-level grittiness that makes Daredevil stand out from other Marvel heroes. If this is anything like the first two seasons of Daredevil, I’ll be more than happy.

I’m honestly just here for Charlie Cox. I’ve never been the biggest Daredevil fan, but I really like the actor, and I’m curious to see where this new chapter takes the character. The fact that they’re keeping some of the same cast from the Netflix series is a good sign for me because I thought the chemistry between them was one of the best parts of the show. The story sounds interesting too—Fisk running for mayor? That could be fun to explore. I’m not expecting anything groundbreaking, but I’ll definitely give it a shot when it comes out.

I can’t express how happy I am that Daredevil is coming back, especially with Charlie Cox leading the charge. He IS Daredevil for me, and I’m so glad they’re bringing him back into the fold. The trailer looks amazing, and it feels like they’re keeping the essence of the original show—gritty, raw, and full of suspense. Wilson Fisk as mayor? That’s such an exciting concept, and I can’t wait to see how that plays out. Adding in White Tiger as a new vigilante is an interesting twist, and I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is one of the best superhero performances we’ve seen in recent years. Seeing him return, with the same great supporting cast, is such a win.
