Crunchyroll's Massive Winter 2025 Lineup

Crunchyroll just handed us their entire anime premiere list for the month of January and a little bit beyond. There are over 30 titles coming within that time! Heavy hitters include the final season of Dr. Stone, the English dub of Dragon Ball Daima, and Season 2 of Solo Leveling. There is of course far more: expect the usual amount of isekai, reincarnations and awkward romances, some with titles so literal you don’t really need to read the descriptions to know what they’re about (“I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic” and “I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class” are two examples). Surprisingly, there’s only ONE apocalypse this month: in Momentary Lily, where a amnesiac woman with superpowers must join four other survivors to battle the robots that have taken over the planet. Crunchyroll’s extensive list can be browsed below, complete with trailers for each series. DECEMBER 31 Fate/strange Fake (A-1 Pictures) In a Holy Grail War, Mages (Masters) and their Heroic Spirits (Servants) fight for the control of the Holy Grail—an omnipotent wish-granting device said to fulfill any desire. Years have passed since the end of […]

Crunchyroll’s Winter 2025 lineup feels like they were catering directly to me. Solo Leveling Season 2 being back is enough to have me hype, but Dragon Ball Daima adds even more of that classic action energy. Then there’s Fate/Strange Fake kicking off on New Year’s Eve, which basically guarantees my year is starting with a bang. Fantasy anime just hits different when it’s done right, and these big hitters look like they’ll deliver. I’m also eyeing a few newer shows, like Momentary Lily—it’s not my usual genre, but something about its synopsis makes me think it’ll surprise me. This season is going to take over my life, and I’m not mad about it.

I’m absolutely living for Crunchyroll’s Winter 2025 lineup, especially with the mix of drama and romance they’re serving us this time around. Momentary Lily sounds like it’s going to deliver a beautiful, emotional story, and I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class? That title alone has me hooked—I already know it’s going to be messy, awkward, and full of feelings, and I’m here for it. The sequels look great too—Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is a favorite, and it’s finally getting some love again. Between the romantic chaos and the fantasy sequels like Solo Leveling and Fate/Strange Fake, this season is packed, and my watchlist is crying.

I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class is either going to be a trainwreck or an unmissable masterpiece of chaos. I live for shows that surprise people, so here’s hoping a few of these fly under the radar and blow everyone’s minds.

Crunchyroll really delivered a strong Winter 2025 lineup with something for every kind of anime fan. You’ve got the action crowd covered with Solo Leveling and Dragon Ball Daima, fantasy fans eating good with Fate/Strange Fake, and drama lovers getting wild romantic tension in I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class. Momentary Lily adds a nice slice-of-life touch to balance out all the chaos. Whether you’re here for big fights, emotional stories, or pure cringe drama, this season’s looking packed. I’ll probably take it slow, but there’s definitely a lot worth checking out
