OMG! I'm so hyped for Wicked! Ariana and Cynthia killed it! Their voices are everything. Can't wait for Part Two! I'm still obsessed with "Popular" and "Defying Gravity."

I think the edited version of "Defying Gravity" works surprisingly well. It retains the emotional core of the song while being more concise. However, I'm not a fan of the "Popular" edit. The full version is already radio-friendly and doesn't need to be shortened. Instead, they should have focused on editing longer songs like "Dancing Through Life" to make them more accessible for a wider audience.

It's a shame, though, because the full versions are way better. Maybe they could've edited some of the longer songs instead, like "Dancing Through Life." Oh well, at least we can always listen to the full versions on streaming services.

I completely agree! The "Popular" edit is way too aggressive. They could have easily removed the dialogue sections to shorten the song without sacrificing its impact. It's a shame they went so far as to cut out entire verses. The original version is perfect for radio play, and this edit just feels unnecessary.
