Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has made a surprising announcement, revealing his involvement in SNK’s upcoming fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. While the exact details of his role remain shrouded in mystery, Ronaldo teased fans on social media with a cryptic video, hinting at a major surprise. The partnership between Ronaldo and SNK is particularly intriguing given the shared Saudi Arabian ownership of both the soccer star’s club, Al Nassr FC, and the game developer. This connection could open the door for a unique and exciting collaboration. While Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a new installment to beloved franchise among hardcore fighting game fans, it may be less familiar to younger generations who grew up with popular titles like Fortnite, Minecraft, and Roblox. These younger players are more accustomed to battle royale, sandbox, and online multiplayer games than traditional fighting games like Street Fighter and King of Fighters. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Tweet announcement Ronaldo’s inclusion in Fatal Fury could help introduce the series to a wider audience, particularly among sports fans and casual gamers. His massive popularity and crossover appeal could attract new players who might not have otherwise considered trying a fighting game. As we await further details […]

This is a terrible idea. We don't need Ronaldo in Fatal Fury. We need more classic characters and a focus on the fighting game mechanics. I'm so tired of these celebrity cameos in fighting games. It's just a cash grab. They could have used that for a real Fatal Fury character instead of some soccer player. This is just a gimmick is stupid. I been waiting for years for a new Fatal Fury game, and they give us a celebrity guest character? It's a stupid idea.

I'm old school. I want to see classic Fatal Fury characters. Guest characters like Ronaldo are just distractions. If they wanted to do a crossover, they should have brought in a Street Fighter character since Mai and Terry are already in Street Fighter 6.

They could have used this slot to introduce a new character who could become a fan favorite. Instead, they're going with a safe bet that might not even be that interesting. I'm still holding out hope that this will be a fun and unique addition to the game. But I can't help but feel like they could have done better.

I'm really curious about Ronaldo's fighting style in Fatal Fury. Soccer is a sport, not a martial art. I wonder how they'll translate his skills into the game. Will he use his kicks and agility? Or will they create a completely new fighting style for him?

I remember playing Fatal Fury back in the day. It's great to see it getting a new installment. I'm not sure how I feel about Ronaldo being in the game, but I'm curious to see how it turns out. This is a great way to get kids interested in fighting games. Ronaldo is a huge star, so they'll be excited to play as him.

I remember playing Fatal Fury back in the day. It's great to see it getting a new installment. I'm not sure how I feel about Ronaldo being in the game, but I'm curious to see how it turns out. I hope they don't overdo it with his character and that he fits in with the rest of the cast. I'm also interested in the graphics and gameplay. I hope they've made significant improvements since the last Fatal Fury game.

I'm really curious if Ronaldo will voice his own character. I hope he does, but if he can't, I hope they hire a talented voice actor who can capture his personality and accent. I don't want him to end up like Megan Fox in Mortal Kombat, where her voice acting was a major epic fail as Nitara.

This is definitely one of the craziest crossover ideas I've ever heard! I mean, who would have thought we'd see Cristiano Ronaldo in a fighting game? It's a total left-field move, but I'm here for it. I hope SNK does a great job of integrating him into the Fatal Fury universe.

I thought this was an April Fool's joke! I mean, Ronaldo in Fatal Fury? That's a pretty wild concept. But then I realized it's September and the tweet is actually from his official X account. So, it's actually happening! I'm still a bit shocked, but I'm also really excited. This is going to be a weird and wonderful crossover. I wonder if Ronaldo will have any special moves based on his soccer skills, like a flying header or a bicycle kick. Or maybe he'll just be a really strong and fast character with basic punches and kicks. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
