Up to now McFarlane Toys has made collectibles based around comic books (like the ones McFarlane owns himself) but they’re expanding. They’ve just announced a deal with Atlus to make figures out of characters from the Persona series — Persona 3 specifically. Once a niche series, Persona ballooned in popularity with each installment, Persona 5 being the current peak. The franchise has been kind of dormant since then, staying relevant on spinoffs and reprints while the team behind the series creates Metaphor ReFantazio. The last Persona release was Persona 3 Reload, the remastered version of the PS2 classic (minus the FES chapter). It came out last February on modern platforms.
