Amazon's Fallout TV Show Arrives This April

<p>Before Bethesda got swallowed by Microsoft to make bland space exploration games, they became world famous for the Fallout series — a set of post-apocalyptic RPGs set in a world where the Cold war of the 50s actually went hot and culture pretty much froze there. You typically play as a survivor emerging from their bunker who must now find ways to survive, beat hideous mutants, and converse with a variety of weird characters.</p>

Amazon is good with comics adaptations but not videogames. Their Halo adaptation pissed me off.

I've got mixed feelings about this Fallout TV show. On one hand, the casting looks intriguing, and the characters seem well thought out. On the other, I can't shake off the fear that they might deviate too much from the essence of the game. Let's hope Amazon doesn't turn this into another adaptation disaster. Fingers crossed for a faithful depiction of the Wasteland.

Vault 33, Brotherhood of Steel, Ghouls - it's like a trip down memory lane! I've been a Fallout fan since the beginning, and seeing these familiar elements in a TV show is giving me major nostalgia vibes. Here's hoping they capture the essence of the game's unique blend of humor, grit, and moral ambiguity. And no Ron Perlman? That's a tough pill to swallow.

Though I'm ecstatic about Fallout, is it possible that we could see a Vault 69 episode? That one with a thousand women and one man? It sounds like the stuff of wasteland legends, and I can't help but picture the mayhem and chaos that might result. Please, Amazon, just one episode? A little Vault 69 craziness is what the wasteland needs!

I finally got to check this out recently. I thought it was very well done. My only complaint was that I would have liked to see the Ghoul version of Cooper do more than look cool. I enjoyed his backstory. But I wanted to see more character development out of present time Ghoul Cooper. When the last episode ended, I was left very curious about where our main characters will end up next season and how their decisions will affect whatever is to come.
