Looks like we can finally put some numbers to our nostalgia. Turns out the cast of That '70s Show had a mix of ages when it premiered in 1998, with only a few of them actually being teenagers. Some were in their 20s, which makes those "teen" antics even funnier in hindsight.

I remember thinking it was wild that the cast was mostly older than the characters they played, especially with Topher Grace and Mila Kunis stepping into high school roles while pushing 20. Some of those "teen" moments felt a bit cringey when you looked at it through the lens of their actual ages. But there was something magic about their chemistry that made it work, especially in those early seasons. The writing had that perfect blend of nostalgia and humor, especially when they tackled the quirks of the '70s. Still, I found some of the later seasons dragged a little, losing that original charm.
