The concept of "Hwayi: A Monster Boy" was intriguing, especially with the exploration of identity and the father-son dynamic among the gangsters. However, I felt the pacing was a bit uneven at times, which took away from the emotional impact in certain scenes. Despite that, the performances, especially by the young actor portraying Hwayi, really brought the story to life.

Can you imagine having 5 "dads" and they each teach you their "specialty," and you're good at everything? Then you find out they're all monsters and made you one too. That is so wrong!
