The Evolution of Wolverine: What Do You Think About His Latest Arc?

Wolverine has always been one of those characters that somehow keeps reinventing himself, but the latest arc in "X-Men" by Jerry Duggan is hitting different for me! I just finished "Destiny of X," and while I love the exploration of his relationship with Mariko and how it reflects his struggles with identity, I can't help but feel mixed about how they're portraying his healing factor lately.

On one hand, it adds a layer of vulnerability that makes him more relatable, but on the other hand, has it stripped away some of his mystique? Not to mention the new dynamics with the rest of the Krakoa crew, I really dig how they bring different sides out of him through his interactions!

Also, let's talk about the art! That cover of issue #30 by Adam Kubert is ! His style captures Wolverine's ferocity perfectly!

I'm really enjoying where Duggan is taking Wolverine too! The depth in his relationship with Mariko adds a new layer to his character that we don't often see. It's refreshing to see him grapple with vulnerability instead of just being the unstoppable force. I get what you mean about the mystique, his healing factor has always been a huge part of what makes him Wolverine, so it's a bit of a shift!

The dynamics with the Krakoan crew are really fun, though! They show different aspects of his personality that I didn't realize were there. As for future storylines, I'd love to see more of his history with the Weapon X program explored, especially how it might affect his new vulnerabilities.
