I'm looking to explore some standout foreign language films from the 21st century that really make an impact, whether through storytelling, cinematography, or emotional resonance. I've heard great things about films like "Parasite" and "Amour," but I'm curious about your recommendations. What are some others that you think are must-sees?

"Parasite" and "Amour" are indeed incredible picks! I'd also throw "City of God" into the mix, it's such a powerful exploration of life in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, plus the cinematography is stunning. Another one that really struck me was "The Intouchables." The chemistry between the leads is heartwarming, and it beautifully balances humor with deeper themes.

For something a bit different, check out "Pan's Labyrinth." Guillermo del Toro weaves such a captivating fairy tale within the harsh realities of post-Civil War Spain, and the visual storytelling is just phenomenal.

What are you particularly drawn to, action, drama, or something else?
