Brazilian Ratings Board Seemingly Leaks Name Of Unannounced Metroid Game

It's crazy to think we might be getting another Metroid game so soon after Prime 4! The anticipation around that game was intense, and now it seems like there's more on the horizon. I'm curious about the direction they'll take with this new title. Hopefully, they stick with the classic exploration vibes that make Metroid so unique.

Do you think they'll introduce any new mechanics or maybe revisit some fan-favorite elements? I'm really hoping for some lore expansions too!

I actually hope this turns out to be real. A new 2D Metroid sounds more interesting to me than another Prime game right now. I liked Dread because it felt fast and focused, so if Nintendo is making something in that style again, I'm interested. The name Ravenous also sounds darker than usual, which makes me wonder if they're trying something different with the story. Of course, a ratings listing doesn't always mean everything is final, so I'm not getting too excited yet. Still, Nintendo has surprised people before by announcing games close to release, so I wouldn't be shocked if this appears in a Direct soon.

Prime 4 really disappointed me, so I need to see gameplay before I believe any hype again. Leaks are fun to read, but they don't mean much until Nintendo shows the game. If Ravenous is real, I just want it to be polished and complete on day one.

The title "Metroid Ravenous" sounds pretty cool. It gives me the feeling that the enemies or even the planet itself could be more dangerous than usual. I don't even care if it's 2D or 3D as long as exploring feels rewarding. Metroid has always been about finding hidden paths and slowly getting stronger. I don't want the series to lose that identity just because people expect something bigger every time. If Nintendo can make exploration fun again, I'll probably buy it.

I think people are forgetting that ratings board leaks happen pretty often. Some end up being real, while others disappear without any explanation. I'm interested, but I'm treating this as a rumor until Nintendo confirms it. That said, Nintendo's habit of revealing games only a few months before release does make this feel a little more believable. We'll probably know soon enough if it's real.

I'll believe it when Nintendo uploads a trailer. I've seen too many game leaks that looked convincing and then went nowhere. Still, if Brazil's ratings board really listed it, that's more interesting than a random social media rumor. The biggest question for me isn't whether it's 2D or 3D. I just want to know what makes this game different. A new subtitle should mean new ideas, not just another adventure with a different name. If Nintendo can surprise people again, then I'll happily admit I was wrong for being skeptical.

Honestly, this sounds believable because Nintendo has a habit of keeping things quiet until the last minute. A ratings board listing isn't random, so there might actually be something happening behind the scenes. The name Ravenous definitely catches attention too. It sounds darker than most Metroid subtitles, and that alone makes me curious. Hopefully, it isn't just another rumor that disappears after a few weeks.

Kind of hoping this ends up being another 2D Metroid. Dread reminded everyone that the classic style still works today. Fast movement, challenging bosses, and rewarding exploration are all the series really needs. There's no reason to change that formula if the developers can keep improving it.

Never expected another Metroid rumor this soon after Prime 4. If Nintendo already has another game close to release, that would actually be impressive. Keeping a project hidden in today's gaming industry isn't easy. It would be nice to see Samus get another adventure instead of waiting years again.
