Finally a fresh take in the series. Faye as main character makes total sense after all the buildup in Ragnarok. Her spirit story in the Everywhen looks deep and the combat with magic and sword feels smooth and powerful. People complain about woke but this is just good mythology expansion. Sekhmet and the weird cube companion add fun new flavor. Kratos story had its time, now we get to see his wife shine. Looks ready and I cannot wait to play it.

Sony nailed the surprise. Faye holds her own easily and the sword magic combo is cool to watch. The story setup with her spirit journey feels meaningful after her death in past games. Cube and ribbon add personality without breaking the tone too much. This expands the universe in smart ways. Haters will always complain about change but this is progress for the franchise.
