The Further Adventures series is such a treasure! It’s wild to think about how the expanded universe allowed for so much creativity without the tight constraints we see today. I mean, just imagine if they threw Indiana Jones into an ancient alien conspiracy or had him face off against mythological creatures! The early 80s comics had that adventurous spirit, and the stories really captured that serialized feel of the films.
I’m especially excited to see how these stories are reintroduced. It feels like there's a nostalgia wave coming, especially with the recent trend of bringing back older franchises like this. Do you have any favorite story arcs or issues from the series? I remember absolutely loving the one where Indy goes to the Amazon to uncover a lost city, it had plenty of twists and classic Indy-style shenanigans!
