MICHAEL (2026) ~ The Biopic Poised to Redefine Michael Jackson’s Legacy

What stands out most is the effort put into recreating key moments. The level of detail in performances is impressive. Jaafar deserves credit for making those scenes work. The emotional side is present, especially with family interactions, but it does not go far enough. The film seems more interested in protecting an image than exploring reality. That choice will divide viewers. Some will appreciate the focus, others will want more honesty. Either way, it is a well-made production.

There is no doubt the film looks good. Every scene feels planned and refined. The music sequences are the highlight and show real effort. Jaafar brings the right energy and does not feel out of place. Still, the story avoids difficult areas, and that creates a sense of imbalance. It focuses too much on the positive side and not enough on the full reality. That makes it enjoyable, but also predictable in tone.
