I love how their films often explore deep themes without losing that whimsical charm. "Spirited Away" is a standout for me; the way it tackles themes of identity and consumerism while immersing us in that stunning world is just brilliant.

Regarding influence, I definitely see echoes of Ghibli in films like "The Red Turtle." It captures that same sense of connection to nature and internal growth. Every Ghibli movie has its own warm feeling. I enjoyed seeing the pacifism in Howl's Moving Castle. It makes you reflect without shouting. Their way of storytelling influenced many directors around the world. Will someone capture the full magic again? I hope so but it will be hard. My personal favorite is Grave of the Fireflies. Even though it is sad it shows real human strength and love in difficult times. It stays with you long after it ends.

After watching Howl's Moving Castle again I kept thinking about how Sophie changes and accepts herself. Ghibli is good at showing personal growth without forcing it. Many new films copy the beautiful backgrounds but miss the quiet emotions. I hope some studio learns to slow down like them. Totoro will always be my comfort movie. When life feels heavy I put it on and remember there is still wonder around us.

I watched Spirited Away when I was ten and it stayed with me forever. The way they show Chihiro growing up without big speeches feels so real. I like how Ghibli always puts nature and quiet moments in the middle of the story. Howl's Moving Castle made me think about war and kindness at the same time. I don't know if another studio can do exactly the same thing because Ghibli has its own slow pace and heart. Disney tries but it usually feels faster and louder. My favorite is still Totoro because it reminds me of playing outside when I was small. Simple but it makes me happy every time.

The love between the siblings made the tragedy even worse. It is okay to feel traumatized. That film does not hold back on showing suffering. If the dream keeps coming back maybe talk about it with someone or watch cheerful shorts to clear your mind. Ghibli made it to make us remember what war really costs. Grave of the Fireflies left me shaken too. I had dreams about it for weeks. The way the fireflies light up the shelter is such a strong image but the reality behind it hurts. It is one of the most honest war stories ever told in animation. Many people say the same thing. You are not weak for still feeling it. Maybe next time choose Spirited Away or Ponyo when you want Ghibli. Those have more hope and wonder to heal the heart a little.
