I might be in the minority, but I didn’t find "Moss" as captivating as some other K-thrillers I've seen. While the dark themes and eerie atmosphere were undeniably haunting, I felt the pacing was a bit slow at times. The adaptation from the webtoon was interesting, though, and I appreciated how it captured the grim reality of the characters' situations.

Has anyone else felt that the storytelling dragged a little? I wonder if the webtoon format offered more depth that the film couldn’t fully explore. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

The preacher trying to help people while the detective uses him for his own power is crazy. Then 25 years later the son shows up and everything starts falling apart for the chief. The violence is really strong so be ready for that. I liked how they showed the past and present together. Good movie if you like serious thrillers.

Just finished Moss and wow what a twisted story. From the religious leader getting mixed up with the corrupt detective to the son uncovering all the secrets years later. The village feels alive with all the fear and control. Some parts were hard to watch because of how real the bad stuff felt. Still the plot keeps you guessing until the end. Solid Korean thriller.

Watched it on Tubi and the story surprised me. The whole village is under the chief's thumb because of things that happened long ago. The son returning to bury his father but staying to investigate felt very real. Some scenes are brutal so prepare yourself. The acting carries the movie especially the main guys. It's dark but interesting.

The movie Moss is dark and slow but in a good way. You see how the chief built his power starting from the 70s with the preacher and then the son comes years later to shake things up. The secrets and the way people hide the truth is tense. Actors are convincing and the story feels complete. Not a fun watch but a strong one if you can handle heavy topics.

There have definitely been better thrillers, but the bad guy in this movie was a really bad guy. I did not like at all.
