The Original Rayman Has Returned — In A Big Way

This is massive. 30 years already? Time flies. I remember begging my parents for the Jaguar version but ended up playing the PS1 one at my cousin’s house nonstop. The bonus content here looks deeper than most remasters get. Those three DOS level packs from the 90s are the real treasure for me. Hope the rewind feature isn’t too strong because the challenge was part of the fun. Definitely grabbing it on PC.

Most companies would just slap HD on it and call it a day but this has everything—old versions, creator talks, unseen prototype, tons of extra levels. I skipped the GBC port back then because it was so cramped and ugly. Glad they warn about it. Accessibility options are smart too, lets new players try without rage quitting. Price better not be crazy though.

Eh, cool I guess but feels a bit much. All these versions and bonuses when most people just want the PS1 classic cleaned up. The SNES prototype is interesting though. I’ll probably play it once for the nostalgia hit and move on. Rewind and invincibility are nice for casual runs. Not sure if it’s worth full price yet. Waiting for reviews.
