A lot of romcoms push the male lead to fix the female lead. Here, he just stays. Yoon Bom slowly opening up felt natural. I also liked her clothes and body language. She looked closed off without saying it. The seaside town was beautiful but not flashy. It felt like a place people actually live in. The comedy parts were light and did not break the tone. I think this drama works best if you watch it slowly, not binge everything in one night. It is not dramatic or shocking. It is steady. That might be boring for some people, but I found it comforting.

I have mixed feelings about this show. I liked the idea more than the execution. Yoon Bom’s backstory was interesting, but I wanted more detail. It felt like the show was afraid to go deeper into her pain. Sun Jae-Gyu was fine, but sometimes he felt too perfect. Everyone liking him except the school staff made it a bit obvious. I did enjoy their chemistry, especially during the quiet scenes by the sea. Those moments felt honest. The villagers and coworkers were okay, but some of them felt like filler. I do not think this drama is bad. It is gentle and safe. I just wanted a little more emotional risk. Still, I understand why people like it. It is easy to watch after a long day. I would recommend it to someone who wants something calm and romantic without heavy drama.

What I liked most was how the romance did not feel rushed. They spent time being awkward, and that felt honest. Yoon Bom was not written as cold for style. She was cold because she was scared. I related to that more than I expected. Sun Jae-Gyu being straightforward helped balance her. He did not play games. I also liked that the show did not punish her for being distant. It allowed her space. The villagers were curious but not cruel. That was refreshing. The drama did not try to surprise me, and I am fine with that. It knew what kind of story it was telling. I would recommend this to someone who wants a quiet romance with adults who talk and listen. It is not flashy, but it feels sincere.

I agree. In addition, I watch a lot of K-dramas and love it when the setting is not in Seoul. There are so many beautiful places in South Korea. Since I can no longer physically travel, I go by way of K-dramas. It's a great virtual vacation.
