3D Handheld Gaming Returns With The Abxylute 3D One

As hard as technology companies and filmmakers tried to shove 3D media down everyone’s throat last decade, it appears stereoscopic 3D will always be a niche thing…which is kinda sad for those of us who LIKE 3D. Wasn’t the 3DS cool? That screen which gave the visuals an illusion of depth was truly one of a kind. Too bad the device is discontinued now. But wait…a tech company in Hong Kong is fighting to keep the 3D flame alive. Abxylute, producer of two previous gaming PC handhelds and a mobile snap-on controller, is introducing the Abxylute 3D One…a handheld like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally, except with a glasses-less 3D screen. And it’s at a much higher resolution than the 3DS had! The 3D One can support 3D modes on any PC game that has them…granted, that isn’t a lot, but there might also be 3D mods floating around for some of the more popular titles — Cyberpunk 2077 is shown running. It runs at maximum of a 120HZ framerate, and like the later model of the 3DS, has an eye-tracking system to keep the 3D effect stable. It’ll play 3D movies with all the proper dimensions intact. And […]

I have to admit, I’ve always loved the idea of 3D handhelds. I had a 3DS back in the day and the depth effect made games feel more alive than on a flat screen. Seeing a new device like the Abxylute 3D One makes me excited, even if only a few games really use 3D. I like that it can emulate older titles in 3D too. The price is steep, but for someone like me who just wants to experience 3D again without glasses, it might be worth saving up for. I also like that it supports PC games with 3D mods because I have a small collection of those. The only concern is whether the battery life will hold up with such a high-resolution screen running at 120Hz. Overall, I’d seriously consider this if I had the money, even though I know it’s niche.

I think it’s great that companies are still experimenting with new types of displays. I’ve always liked 3D effects when done well, and this seems like a big step up from the old 3DS. Being able to play older games in 3D is also a huge draw for me. I know the price is high and the audience is small, but for people who actually care about 3D, this is probably the best option available. I’d love to see more games supporting it in the future.

Also, sometimes I still want something simple. At such moments I go to https://oncasinos.ca/ and look for some game here. There is no 3D there, but the games are exciting and give a lot of emotions.
Wow, finally a modern handheld bringing glasses-free 3D back! The 3D One sounds like a true successor to the 3DS. Excited to see it!!
