“Pinocchio” stands out to me because of how it looks at lies and truth in journalism. I didn’t expect a drama about reporters to be so emotional. The Pinocchio Effect is a neat twist, and I liked how Choi In-ha struggles with her family’s past while trying to do what’s right. Watching her journey made me think about how difficult it is to separate personal loyalty from morality. Lee Jong-Suk did a great job again, and I could see why fans of “I Hear Your Voice” would enjoy this. It’s not just about crime-solving; it’s about the impact of secrets on people’s lives.

Tunnel is my favorite out of these five. Time travel stories can be messy, but the way the older detective wakes up in the future feels realistic. His struggle with adjusting to modern life while chasing the killer kept me hooked. I liked that it wasn’t all supernatural powers but still had a mysterious, thrilling vibe. Watching the partnership between the detective and his new colleagues unfold shows that teamwork and trust matter, even in strange circumstances. The mystery kept me guessing until the end.

I didn’t expect “The Girl Who Sees Smells” to be emotional, but it really is. The supernatural ability is fascinating, but the heart of the story is the characters coping with loss. Seeing them bond and solve crimes together makes the story both thrilling and touching. I liked that the romance developed naturally and wasn’t the main focus. It felt like the writers respected both the crime-solving and the personal growth. This combination makes it a drama that’s easy to recommend.

In Dream had a dark edge I appreciated. Dream-walking is creepy enough, but adding a villain with the same ability made it a psychological thriller. I liked that the main character had to rely on wit and moral choices rather than brute force. It made her struggle feel more realistic and tense. I also enjoyed that the show explored the consequences of meddling in someone else’s dreams—it wasn’t just action for spectacle. The pacing kept me engaged the entire time, and the stakes were high enough to make every scene feel important.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure about While You Were Sleeping at first because dream-based plots can feel overdone. But this series handled it with care. The characters weren’t just reacting to visions—they had to actively make decisions to prevent disasters, which added real stakes. I liked that it combined legal drama with the supernatural, giving it a grounded feel even with prophetic dreams. The storyline moved at a good pace, and the minor characters were fleshed out enough to care about their actions. The mix of suspense, romance, and legal cases made it feel like a balanced show rather than something gimmicky.
