Crunchyroll Manga launched last October and has been filling out their library in the weeks since. The app now boasts digital titles from AlphaPolis, COMPASS, Square Enix, VIZ Media, and Yen Press, with the promise of more. Today the promise was filled again with the addition of titles from publishing house J-Novel Club. The collection includes Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill (and its spinoff), Black Summoner, My Clueless First Friend, The Faraway Paladin, The Water Magician and many others. Crunchyroll has also announced that the manga A Journey Through Another World now has 66 additional chapters. Here’s the complete list of J-Novel Club titles that are now on Crunchyroll Manga. I read through the list and I feel glad that Crunchyroll Manga finally added more J-Novel Club titles. I use the app a lot when I am waiting for things, so having more series to choose from helps. I follow Campfire Cooking because it relaxes me, so it is nice that the spinoff is also included. I also check Tearmoon Empire from time to time, so seeing the orange marker reminds me that I can switch between manga and anime whenever I want. I think this update makes the subscription feel more valuable, especially for people who only stay for isekai or fantasy stories. I am hoping they add more slice-of-life titles next.

I think this is a big improvement for anyone who enjoys fantasy manga. I am not a big fan of isekai, but I read The Faraway Paladin and that one is worth checking out. The collection is still very light-novel-heavy, but I understand these are J-Novel Club titles. I hope Crunchyroll also tries to secure more seinen works in the future, because that would balance things out.

I am really happy about Sweet Reincarnation being included because I watched the anime and wanted to check the manga for months. I like when services keep both versions together instead of making me chase them across different apps. I hope they keep updating the library with new chapters every month. This is the first time I feel like staying subscribed instead of jumping in and out.
