A sequel to this summer’s Superman movie was inevitable, especially since it was intended to launch an entirely new DC cinematic universe. But given that said universe will consist of way more films than just the Man of Steel’s, how long will the wait be for his return? Not too long, James Gunn revealed today…’bout two years. Man Of Tomorrow is the official title of Superman 2 and it will show up in the summer of 2027. At this early stage, neither a cast shot nor set footage exists yet. That just leaves concept art. Fortunately DC is stocked with top-notch artists that can provide just that. Here’s the image Gunn chose to announce Superman 2, drawn by Jim Lee: Lex Luthor has taken his rivalry with Superman to the next level. He’s built a power suit that can bestow upon him the strength to go toe-to-toe (more like fist-to-fist) with his adversary. Supes, however, knows how to overcome the suit: a simple screwdriver. Two more images were also posted, on the Instagrams of David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult, who play Superman and Lex respectively. Corenswet posted this: They look like they’re fighting together in this one, unless Supes is […]

So this is the reason why they removed the title Woman of Tomorrow for the upcoming Supergirl movie. Interesting.

I am really happy that Superman 2 has a name already: Man of Tomorrow! I loved the first movie this summer. Seeing the concept art is exciting because it shows that the movie will have amazing action scenes. Lex Luthor with a power suit sounds very dangerous, but I like that Superman can use a simple screwdriver. It shows he is smart, not just strong. I hope they make the fight scenes very clear and easy to follow. Also, I am curious about the Supergirl solo movie next year. This new DC universe is starting well, and I want to see more movies like this. Two years will feel long, but it will be worth the wait.

I am tired of hearing the Snyder Bros say Superman failed. The movie made 612 million in one month, which is very impressive. Yet, they keep telling lies and moving the goalposts to make themselves look right. It is clear that the fans and the box office are the real judges. The sequel is coming, and the new DC universe is continuing. This shows the truth. No amount of exaggeration or negative claims can change reality.

The announcement of Superman 2 is exciting, but I notice some things about the promotion. They use concept art and Instagram posts instead of actual footage. This shows that the movie is still in early stages, and they are trying to create interest slowly. The fight with Lex Luthor’s suit is creative, and the screwdriver idea is clever, but it must be explained in the story. Otherwise, it could feel unrealistic. I also notice that DC is planning a bigger universe with other movies. This could be good if the stories connect well. I hope they give attention to character development as much as to action scenes. Overall, I am optimistic but cautious. The first movie made money, and this shows people want more. I will wait for the sequel, but I want more than just fights and special effects.

Oh my god, can you believe people are celebrating this “success”? 612 million? That is NOTHING. Pathetic. The real fans know the truth. Man of Steel made 670.1 million worldwide. That is REAL success. This new Superman? It will never reach that. They are destroying everything I love. The Snyderverse was perfect. The story, the vision, the depth—it is gone. And now they tease a sequel, like we should be happy, like this 612 number means something. IT DOES NOT. It is weak, shallow, fake. People do not understand the artistry we had. James Gunn and DC are just ruining the legacy. The characters are not even close to the greatness of the original Snyder movies. We are living in a world where mediocrity is celebrated and genius is ignored. I just… I cannot accept it. Bring back the Snyderverse. Bring back real storytelling. Stop pretending 612 million is a triumph. It is insulting. I will never stop fighting for the vision. Superman deserves better. We deserve better.

The Snyder Bros keep claiming that Superman 2025 is a failure, but the box office says otherwise. 612 million in one month is not a flop. It is a huge success. It is funny how they always move the goalposts: first one story, then another, just to stay right in their mind. People should stop listening to these claims. The audience decided the movie is popular, and now we have a sequel. Numbers do not lie. The Snyder Bros are just bad at predictions and love exaggerating. Reality is clear: Superman is winning, and the new DC universe will grow stronger.

I am happy to hear that Man of Tomorrow will come in 2027. I loved the first movie, and I am curious about Superman’s next challenge. Lex Luthor with a power suit seems like a big problem, but I like that Superman is clever enough to use a screwdriver. The concept art looks very strong. I also think the new DC universe is starting well with this movie and Supergirl next year. Two years is a long wait, but it is okay. I will watch it in the cinema for sure.
