The latest episode of 7th Prince, aka I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability, went live at 9:30 Pacific this morning. Last week Babylon was left fighting a powerful enemy and, though he won that fight, it took just about everything out of him. It’s going to be up to Lloyd and Escher to find and heal him…if Lloyd can teleport it shouldn’t be hard, but if Escher can’t administer her healing magic in time….eh, why worry about it, he’s not getting written off midseason. I really like how this episode balanced magic action with mystery. I am not someone who watches shows only for fights. The conversation between the group before they found the door was my favorite moment. You can tell there is trust and respect between them. The teleportation magic was animated beautifully. I hope future episodes explain more about the church, because it feels like the story is hinting at something much bigger.

I am still thinking about that underground scene. Even if they did not show every detail, you can feel how serious it is from the characters’ reactions. I think this episode is proof that the show can go beyond being a “fun reincarnation story” and move into darker territory.

To me, Lloyd’s teleportation moment was the highlight. It was so fast but also very precise. You can tell he has been training seriously. I enjoyed how the story built tension from the fight’s aftermath into the investigation. This pacing keeps me engaged.
