Crunchyroll has been no stranger to the big screen these days, with special one-night releases arranged through Fathom Events on a regular basis. Occasionally something comes along that’s so big it gets its own independent release, like the latest Demon Slayer movie, but for the most part these things have been piped through the same company that re-releases classic films on their anniversaries or shows concerts. Anime Nights will be something different. It’s a direct partnership between Crunchyroll and the nation’s largest theater companies to showcase the latest and greatest of anime.
