Sixty episodes? That's a serious commitment! I'm intrigued by the multi-genre aspect: historical, crime, political thriller, family, romance, and revenge. It sounds like a complex and layered story. I am surprised by the high ratings. I will check it out on Viki.

I'm always looking for a good revenge drama. The fact that this one is set against the backdrop of Gangnam's rapid development in the 70s and 80s adds another layer of interest. I think it is interesting how the city changed. I will watch it

I've heard good things about 'Giant,' and this review makes me want to watch it even more. The story of the siblings seeking revenge for their father's murder sounds compelling. I think the cast is very good. I will check it out.

I went into 'Giant' expecting a typical revenge drama, but it delivered so much more. The character development is phenomenal. Each sibling's journey is unique and compelling, and their eventual reunion is incredibly emotional. Lee Mi-Joo's character, played by Hwang Jung-Eum, is particularly well-written. She's not just a damsel in distress; she's a strong, independent woman who actively seeks justice. The drama also excels in its portrayal of the complex relationship between Lee Kang-Mo and Hwang Jung-Yeon. Their romance is intertwined with their fathers' rivalry, creating a constant sense of tension and conflict. The historical context is also fascinating. Seeing how the characters' lives are shaped by the political and economic changes of the time adds depth and complexity to the story. I think that the sound track is very good. I will watch it again.

The story's focus on the development of Gangnam is also fascinating. It's not just a backdrop; it's an integral part of the plot. The drama explores the darker side of this rapid development, highlighting the corruption and greed that often accompany such transformations. The political intrigue is also well-executed, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The acting is top-notch across the board, and the chemistry between the cast members is palpable. The relationship between the siblings is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. The ending is very emotional, and I think that it will stay with me for a long time. I think that the drama is very good

I am always curious when I see a K-drama that has the same title as an American movie or TV show. As usual, the Korean drama is nothing at all like the American drama. But I'm usually never disappointed, even though it's different. This had a good storyline.
