Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles is rolling out one of its most immersive events to date: the DC Heroes and Villains Fest, running from June 20 through July 26. Set in the park’s DC Universe area, the event transforms guests into citizens of Gotham City and pulls them into a live-action storyline starring Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman. Six Flags is a franchise of amusement parks with over 40 locations throughout America (except the entire Northwest region). I'm a big fan of the DC Universe, so seeing the park transformed into Gotham City is a great idea. The dance parties hosted by The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman sound like they'll be a lot of fun, especially with the "DJ MC HI-JINX." I'm also glad they are including the existing DC-themed rides like BATMAN The Ride and WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage, as they fit perfectly with the event's theme. Knowing the exact showtimes are only on the app means you really need to be present and looking for things to happen, which feels more adventurous.
