They’re such a cute couple! It’s always nice to see real-life partners working together, especially in something as unique as this. Alison Brie and Dave Franco have such great chemistry on screen and off, which will probably make the emotional side of this horror story even stronger. Too bad they’ve openly said they don’t want children—I bet they’d be amazing parents. But hey, everyone has their own path, and they seem really happy together. Looking forward to seeing how their dynamic plays out in this film!

It’s interesting that James Franco is actually confirmed to be in this movie, but they aren’t promoting him at all. Given everything that happened, it makes sense—they probably don’t want his involvement to overshadow the film itself. James has been essentially cancel cultured, and while some actors manage to make a comeback, it might take him a long time to fix his image, if he ever does. Either way, this movie looks like it has a strong cast and a unique concept, so I’m curious to see how it all comes together.

Alison Brie was absolutely amazing in GLOW! I’m still bitter that Netflix canceled it, especially when it had such good ratings and a strong fanbase. I get that the pandemic made filming difficult because of the physical contact in wrestling scenes, but that was years ago. The pandemic is over, Netflix—just bring it back for one last season! The cast and fans deserve proper closure. Until then, I’m excited to see Alison in Together, but nothing will fill the GLOW-shaped hole in my heart.

Together looks like it’s going to be a disturbing yet intimate experience, especially with Alison Brie and Dave Franco in the lead. Their real-life chemistry will make the transformations feel even more unsettling. The imagery in the trailer—especially Tim pulling that thread from his throat—already gave me chills. If this film leans into the slow, psychological breakdown of its characters rather than relying on cheap jump scares, it could be one of the best horror films of the year. I can’t wait.

It’s pretty rare for real-life couples to work together in movies, but Alison Brie and Dave Franco seem to love collaborating. They’ve already done multiple projects together—The Rental, Somebody I Used to Know, and now Together. It’s interesting because some couples avoid working together to keep their personal and professional lives separate, but these two seem to thrive on it. Their real chemistry probably makes their performances feel more natural, which will be especially important in a psychological horror like this.

I’m not convinced. The trailer sounds like it’s trying too hard to be cryptic instead of actually telling us what the movie is about. Sure, the imagery is unsettling, but will there be substance beyond the shock value? A lot of horror films lately rely too much on eerie visuals without actually building a compelling story. I hope this isn’t just another case of style over substance.

Body horror is a delicate art. The classics—Cronenberg’s The Fly, Carpenter’s The Thing—set the bar high, and few modern films have captured that same grotesque yet meaningful transformation. The trailer description for Together is intriguing, but I’ll reserve judgment until I see how well it executes its themes. If it’s just a series of disturbing images with no real depth, it won’t hold up against the greats.

Sundance has a history of launching unique horror films, and the fact that Together was one of the most talked-about movies there means it’s doing something right. Indie horror tends to be more creative than mainstream horror, so I’m expecting something fresh and unsettling.

I feel like this movie is going to be more than just horror. The title “Together” suggests it’s about relationships, maybe even co-dependency or the fear of changing into something you don’t recognize in a relationship. The body horror might symbolize how love can consume or alter people in ways they never expected. If the film leans into that deeper meaning, it could be something special.
