I’ve always been fascinated by biblical history, so I was eager to see how House of David would portray this classic story. While the cinematography and battle sequences were impressive, I feel like the series could have done more to explore David’s political rise after defeating Goliath. The story of David isn’t just about one battle—it’s about leadership, faith, and betrayal. I hope they continue the series beyond this single conflict and delve deeper into David’s later years.

This series was a blessing to watch. David’s unwavering faith in God was so well portrayed, and Michael Iskander did an incredible job bringing the young shepherd to life. The scene where David stands before Goliath with nothing but his sling and trust in the Lord gave me chills. I pray that more biblical stories get the same high-quality treatment because we need more faith-based content like this.

I had no idea who Michael Iskander was before this, but he really impressed me. He made David feel like a real person, not just a legend from a story. The action was well done, though I think they could have spent more time showing how David trained with the sling. Still, for a biblical drama, it kept me engaged from start to finish.
